Zulekha Hospitals Group announces opening of Alexis Multi-Speciality Hospital in Nagpur
UAE-based Zulekha Hospitals Group has announced its first foray overseas with the opening of a new hospital in Nagpur, India.
The $43.6 million Alexis Multi-Speciality Hospital in Nagpur was inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari, India's Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping, and Dr Zulekha Daud, founder and chairperson of Zulekha Healthcare Group.
Spanning an area of 225,000 sq ft, the hospital provides care across various disciplines, including centres of excellence in cardiac sciences, ENT, orthopaedics, joint replacement, neurosciences, paediatrics and neonatology, trauma services, urology, nephrology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and minimal invasive surgery.
The hospital also features oncology and radiotherapy, preventive medicines and critical care services, while its organ transplant unit is set to open soon.

Implemented in collaboration with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), the hospital will offer 200 beds, a statement said.
