Import of birds from state of Brandenburg has been stopped following bird flu outbreak, minister says.

The UAE on Tuesday banned imports of all kinds of birds from the German state of Brandenburg after cases of bird flu were detected there, reported state news agency Wam.

Wam said the ban was a precautionary measure to protect health safety of the public and animal resources.
