UK cyber security firm opens Dubai office amid rise in threats

NCC Group, the global expert in cyber security and risk mitigation, has continued its international expansion by opening an office in the Middle East.

Its presence in Dubai will support businesses in the region to protect their brand, value and reputation against the ever-evolving threat landscape, the company said in a statement.

Rob Cotton, NCC Group CEO, said: “The importance of IT security in the Middle East continues to grow, as the pace of innovation accelerates at a staggering rate. This is why it was crucial for us to open an office in this region.

“From our Dubai hub in Internet City we will service customers right across the UAE and the GCC, helping to revolutionise the way these organisations think about cyber security and risk mitigation.

“Cyber crime is the single biggest threat to businesses around the world. We look forward to connecting with companies in Dubai and beyond to support them in mitigating this risk.”

The company, which has 15,000 customers globally and has its head office in Manchester, UK, recorded revenue in 2015/16 of almost AED1 billion and is also set to open another new office in Singapore.
