Uncle Tobys introduces breakfast snacks

Australian company Uncle Tobys is introducing new product lines to the region, with a focus on breakfast cereals and cereal bars

Uncle Tobys is increasing its range of products in the region, from cereals and porridge to muesli and cereal bars. Cereal bars themselves are becoming an increasingly popular on-the-go snack for consumers who don’t have time to stop for breakfast, and they also boast nutritional value not found in other snack foods.

The company is owned by Goodman Fielder, Australia’s largest food manufacturer, which produces well-known brands as well as products and ingredients for the food service, commercial and industrial sectors. In 2001, Uncle Tobys and Meadow Lea Foods merged to create a retail branded food business with an annual turnover of around US $900 million.

The range of products includes breakfast cereals, pasta packaged meals, mayonnaise, cooking oils, desserts, frozen food, cake mixes, fruit bars, soups and pasta sources, as well as a range of ethnic cuisines. Uncle Tobys has over a dozen sister brands, from Pampas, Vita Brits and White Wings, to Holbrooks, Healthwise and Cornwell’s. The business trades under the name of GF Foods.
