Al Islami Foods has revealed plans to expand its Meat Shop network across the UAE in collaboration with Union Cooperative Society. The first meat shop will open at Union Coop's Al-Wasl road branch in Dubai this month.
"In line with Al Islami's consolidated strategy to position Dubai as a standard in frozen meat market segment in the Middle East, we have accelerated our efforts to provide our consumers with high quality meat at the retail level", said Saleh Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Al Islami Foods.
"It has been a persistent demand from our consumers to provide them with fresh and credibly healthy meat, which has encouraged us to set up meat shops on their doorsteps. The consumers can now buy with confidence the real Halal, fresh and nutrient meat from Al Islami outlets in the major emirates of the UAE."
"After careful feasibility of the market, we have chosen Union Cooperative Society where Al Islami will establish meat shops.
Al Islami Meat Shops offer fresh Halal veal, beef, chicken and mutton from Australia, Brazil, India and Egypt.
The company intends to open the concept at major supermarkets across the UAE by the end of this year. Al Islami recently established five Meat Shop outlets at Al Ain Cooperative Society stores.
The link with Union Cooperative Society is part of Al Islami's strategy for the UAE market and its five-year expansion plan for local and international markets. For all the latest retail news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
