US giant signs local venture

The US-based Cleveland Clinic is set to establish a healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, following an agreement with regional company Mubadala Development.

Under the terms of the 15-year agreement, Cleveland Clinic will establish, develop and operated a hospital and clinic in Abu Dhabi, offering a spectrum of medical services.

The hospital will be based on Al Suwwa Island, near the Mina Zayed Port.
