In recognition of international Women's Day on March 8, Arabian Business spoke with Nour Al Hassan, CEO of Tarjama, an Abu Dhabi-based translation services company that she founded.
Al Hassan utilises the untapped resource of stay-at-home mothers in the region, who freelance on flexible shifts that suits both parties. Her business has leveraged the high literacy rates among Arab women across the region and their desire to enter the labour market.
It’s a unique and successful business model that many other start-ups who need a flexible and talented labour pool could tap into.
In this edition of Inside AB, Eddie Taylor discuss these issues and ask how other companies could also unleash the talents among women in the region.
