Video: Is paying to select your seat the thin end of the wedge?

It used to be the case that buying a place ticket in the UAE included the cost of all associated services. But now the leading airlines are charging for ancillary services, such as seat selection, and there may be plenty more fees to follow.

Some will argue that the chance to pay for things like chauffer driven cars, lounge access and premium seats is worth the money. Others will see it as the thin end of an expensive wedge.
