Deliveries will run from 2022 to 2029 for the deal which has resurrected the fortunes of the A380.
The move is the culmination of a spate of orders by Emirates and its partner Flydubai, who have bought a combined total of 301 aircraft since day one of Dubai Airshow on November 17, 2017.
It’s the crowning achievement for Tom Leahy, chief of sales at Airbus, and will cement Emirates reputation as the A380 carrier of choice.
