But over the last few decades, the healthcare sector has focused primarily on treating patients when they get sick, rather than monitoring people’s health and lifestyle in order to prevent them from getting ill in the first place.
In the near future, however, advances in artificial intelligence (AI), high-speed internet, developments in 3D-printing and robotics and as is most important now remote-monitoring technology is going to change the way treatment is given, the reason patients go to hospital and the infrastructure of medical facilities.
So what is this future hospital going to look like and how has the pandemic we are faced with today going to accelerate the adoption of healthcare technologies?
