Egypt’s economy struggles amid protests

The Egyptian economy is suffering as the country’s instability continues. Tourism has been steadily on the rise in the past two years, but the country’s target of 13 million visitors this year is looking unlikely as many tour operators cancel their trips. Inflation is on the rise, as is unemployment, and some international companies have suspended operations, all of which is hitting the economy badly.
