Gazans allowed rare visit to Al-Aqsa mosque

Israel has granted permits to 1,500 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to pray at the Al Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem during the Eid-Al-Adha holiday. It’s the first time Israel has allowed Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to visit Islam’s third holiest site since Hamas took control of the strip in 2007.
