Governments increase spending on surveillance

National budgets for internal security are seeing a massive hike around the world, as governments increase spending over fears of internal threats. Cyber surveillance, border security and protection of infrastructure are big priorities; with Asia, Africa and the Middle East seeing huge increases in their domestic security budgets.
