Occupation costs Palestinians ‘billions’

The World Bank has said that the Israeli occupation of the West Bank is costing the Palestinian economy billions of dollars per year. The World Bank said that if Palestine had full access to the occupied land, they could earn an extra $3.4bn, equating to a third of its annual economy, or 35 percent of GDP, as well as a potential $800m a year in tax.
