ViewNet picks up Proteus

Communications and IT specialist ViewNet Technology has added Metelco’s Proteus Call management system to its product portfolio as it looks to bolster its credentials as a strong one-stop-shop integrator in the eyes of customers.

Communications and IT specialist ViewNet Technology has added Metelco’s Proteus Call management system to its product portfolio as it looks to bolster its credentials as a strong one-stop-shop integrator in the eyes of customers.

The channel partnership allows ViewNet to resell Proteus Enterprise, an advanced management information software solution that offers customers total visibility of their voice and data costs. ViewNet will also sell Proteus Trader specifically targeted at financial institutions and Proteus Office aimed at the small and medium business (SMB) segment.

Farhad Mohammadi, CEO at ViewNet Dubai, said: “As an organisation, we are focused on providing the best-of-breed technology to our clients throughout the region. The Proteus System comprises additional modules including email, mobile and internet data and voice reporting integrated in one solution.”

“The system will be used to monitor incoming and outgoing calls on a monthly basis for the purposes of accurate cost allocation, full individual accountability and performance,” he added.

Raad Jaboori, managing director at Metelco, said: “Businesses are increasingly looking towards call centre management to improve customer service but also overall levels of efficiency. Given this, and the strong track record of Proteus, we are seeing considerable interest in this system and we hope to be able to make further announcements of contract wins in the Middle East in the near future.”

UK-based CTI Data Solutions developed Proteus. In October 2004, CTI appointed Metelco to be its representative in the Middle East.
