1,900 sq m shop opens at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah as retailer targets Saudi's growing youth population
Virgin Megastore, the electronics and entertainment retail chain with 40 stores spread across eight countries in the Middle East, has announced the opening of the biggest Apple Shop in Saudi Arabia.
The new flagship store has opened at its Red Sea Mall outlet in Jeddah and occupies more than 1,900 square metres.
The move aims to target the needs of young Saudis who represent about 65 percent of the Gulf kingdom's population, the retailer said in a statement.
"We are excited to be opening the largest Apple Shop in Saudi Arabia inside Virgin Megastore at Red Sea Mall Jeddah," said Muhammad Ramadan, Virgin Megastore's general manager.
"Our new Apple Shop will offer visitors a first class shopping experience for Apple's full line-up of products as well as expert advice."
The Apple Shop features a wide range of the well known Apple products such as MacBook, iPad, iPad2, iPod Touch, MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPod Nano, MacBook Air, as well as the new Apple Watch.
