Show organisers Messe Frankfurt has said it expects a significant increase in turnout at the forthcoming Garden + Landscaping show.
Senior show manager Gavin Morlini told Commercial Outdoor Design that approximately 10,000 people are expected to attend the show this year, in comparison to just over 6,000 visitors in 2007.
More than 150 companies are expected to attend in comparison to 129 exhibitors last year, he added.
Exterior lighting manufacturers, landscaping practices, irrigation suppliers and swimming pool suppliers are some of the firms registered to take part in the show.
This year's show, the fifth edition of the event, will have more of a design focus than previous editions, Morlini told Commercial Outdoor Design.
"We're trying to make the event into a more design-led event rather than just a gardening show," he said.
The Garden + Landscaping show, which runs alongside the Hardware + Tools show, takes place May 25-27 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Total attendance for the event is expected to be 14,000 against 8,477 visitors in 2007.
