Voyence debuts NG platform

Voyence, a provider of configuration and change management solutions, has released its VoyenceControl NG platform.

The firm claims the upgraded VoyenceControl NG 3.6 will facilitate the configuration of network infrastructure and close the loop on configuration management by integrating compliance and remediation tasks into a single, automated process.

“Change and configuration management is at the core of next-generation management strategies,” commented Darren Orzechowski, vice president of marketing at Voyence.

“VoyenceControl NG 3.6 was engineered to help customers realise the benefits of data centre automation strategies, through tight integrations with fault management, service desk, and CMDB [configuration management database] frameworks, and an open and flexible application program interface (API) that provides the facilities necessary to drive change through the entire IT management lifecycle.”

Features of the new VoyenceControl NG include expanded platform support.

Voyence has added Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating systems (OS) to its current range of support platforms.
