Wafi Group takes over serviced apartment block

Park Hotel Apartments becomes the second property managed by the Wafi Group.

Wafi Group takes over serviced apartment block
RELAUNCH: Facilities will include 84 fully-serviced apartments ranging from studios, to 1- and 2-bedroom apartments.

Dubai-based Wafi Group has taken over the management of a serviced apartment block in Jadaf, in a bid to cater to corporate and tourist visitors to the emirate.

Somerset Residences, which will be rebranded Park Hotel Apartments, is the second property managed by the Wafi Group, and is located adjacent to the group’s existing hotel, the Arabian Park Hotel.

“The property is ideal for the mid- to high-end market, as is positioned as deluxe fully-serviced apartments,” said Mark Lee, general manager of Arabian Park Hotel and the new Park Hotel Apartments.

“We feel that the new property will allow us to tap into a higher-end market that we were not able to cater to in the past, and our aim will be to operate the new apartments like a 5-star hotel.”

Facilities will include 84 fully-serviced apartments ranging from studios, to 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. Recreational services on offer include an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi as well as a fully-equipped gymnasium.
