US Vice President Joe Biden will travel to the Middle East on Saturday for a five-day trip that will include visits to the UAE, Israel, West Bank and Jordan, the White House said on Wednesday.

Starting the trip in the UAE, Biden will visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where he will meet with the country's leaders.

On Tuesday he heads to Jerusalem and Ramallah, in the West Bank, for meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah.
