SMEs prepped over new legislation for limited liability companies

Workshop focuses on LLCs

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has held a workshop on how to manage a limited liability company.

The event, held in partnership with Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla, focused on a number of topics surrounding new legislation on LLCs, helping attendees avoid common pitfalls, and offering practical aspects of managing affected companies.

Jehad Kazim, director of legal services depart at Dubai Chamber, said: “With limited liability companies being the most common form of company structure in the UAE, and with increased competition and market growth, it is important to ensure that companies are managed properly.”

The workshop also educated company representatives on what to expect in the future as legislation related to LLCs develops.
