Poll shows frequent travellers look for comfort, cleanliness and top-notch staff service
UK-based consultancy Skytrax has named the best airport hotels in the world for 2010-2011, in it's annual ranking.
The results, announced as part of the annual World Airport Awards, are based on 860,000 survey responses given over a twelve month period.
The respondents, who were all frequent travellers, were asked to name their favourite airport hotel based on a wide range of criteria, including comfort and cleanliness of rooms, standard of food and beverage outlets and most importantly, the overall quality of staff service.
The location and ease of transfer between terminal and hotel also proved to be an important element of customer satisfaction, according to Skytrax.
