Professor Ilham Al Qaradawi is professor of Nuclear Physics at Qatar University and Adjunct Professor of Physics at Texas A&M University in Qatar. Over the past decade at Qatar University, Al Qaradawi has established a positron lab and successfully built the first variable energy slow positron beam in the Middle East. Her research is mainly in the field of positron physics working on various types of materials. Al Qaradawi is involved with Europe’s CERN in the Antihydrogen experiment AEGIS.
