What happens when two guilty pleasures join forces? A dress that is good enough to eat.
A Saudi fashion designer and a Belgian chocolatier joined forces to create a concoction of edible couture to celebrate the grand opening of chocolate manufacturer and café Le Concheur in Jeddah’s Rawdah district.
It took designer Reem Faisal and chocolatier Erik Van der Veken a total of 160 hours to create the garment.
Composed of 10 metres of silk and 12 kilograms of white chocolate, the pair were inspired by each other’s passions when they first met during Jeddah’s Tedx talks.
