Dubai Mall to attempt nail filing world record

Aiming to beat current record is for 2,572 mini-manicures in eight hours

Dubai will this Friday attempt its latest record-breaking attempt when Beauty Connection Spa, in association with KOKO Nail, will attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most nails filed and varnished in eight hours.

One hundred manicurists dressed as Rosie the Riveter, a symbol of feminism, will file and polish 50,000 nails at lightning speed, in an attempt to beat the previous record of 2572 mini-manicures, set by Sally Hansen and Priceline in 2011.

The event will take place at The Dubai Mall, Star Atrium from 2pm to 10pm where manicurists will be on duty and giving complimentary mini manicures.

Although the mini-manicures are free, a donation towards ‘Rashid Centre for Disabled’ is encouraged.

In order to qualify for the record, women will receive a file, a base coat, two coats of varnish and a top coat and men will receive a file and a buff to shine.

Nail a record is an attempt to motivate the workers of Beauty Connection Spa in their lives. 90% of the employees are single mums, widows or orphans from around the world who received an opportunity to stand strong on their feet.

The attempt is a stage to let the world know that gates are open for anyone who needs help.

Further labors could have participated if they cared enough to join. FYI there were labors, workers and all type of people in the event.

Should read little more and try to understand the ideas behind before spitting words out i think.
