Prior to working for Doha Bank, he held executive management positions at three separate Omani banks, and began his career at PwC. He has been recognised on several occasions for his various contributions to business and society.

Last year, he was given the International Indian of the Year Award for, amongst other issues, his work for global warming and climate change issues, and he also won the Pravasi Achievers’ Gold Medal for his outstanding contribution to the banking and economics sector.
