With over 30 years of experience in the regional insurance industry, Vayazil worked at several top houses before setting up Gargash Insurance, where he continues as managing director.

He is also the secretary general of the Insurance Business Group of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as being on the steering committee of the Emiratisation and Insurance programme of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE.
