Almost 570,670 passengers passed through Dubai’s land, sea and air ports this Eid, the general directorate of residency and foreigners affairs (GDRFA) said.
A total of 60,577 passengers used smart gates at Dubai International Airport to speed up entry and exit, figures tweeted by the GDRFA said.
A further 1,784 people used a recently launched application the “UAE Smart Wallet” that aims to cut queues at Dubai airport by up to 15 seconds, airport officials said.
