Jalgha won the competition, which was initiated by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, with 62 percent of the total vote.

His idea? Dozan, an automatic tuner for stringed instruments. Jalgha, who is a graduate in mechanical engineering, has a passion for stringed instruments. But, with his large cash prize to develop his new high profile invention, it is likely he will soon be developing a keen interest in business as well.
