Pizza Hut and KFC stores have been closed in parts of Saudi Arabia for health violations.
The Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Jeddah had only recently opened when it was forced to close for allegedly dealing with food waste in an unhealthy manner, covering the walls with china pieces, not storing food appropriately and employing workers without health certificates, Arab News reported.
The Al Matar branch of Pizza Hut also was shutdown.
Neither fast food chains have responded to the reports.
