Inflation might have hit Dubai, but it hasn’t stopped a Russian woman from reserving AED98,400 ($26,790) set of Louis Vuitton boots in a Dubai Mall boutique.
A sales person at the boutique told Emirates 24/7 that their most expensive boots are a limited edition pair made from alligator skin.
“A Russian lady has booked it,” she said.
The sales person also added that a custom-made belt of alligator skin, included in the Louis Vuitton limited edition collection, is priced at AED13,000.
Dubai Mall is known to house some of the top and most expensive brands in the world.
Most alligator and snake skin shoes range between AED6,000 and AED28,000.
In 2011, a boutique in Dubai Mall housed a $3.8 million purse, the most expensive purse in the world up to date.
