Alhokair & Sons kicks off Oracle ERP project

The Saudi-based holding company has signed up Digicom Systems’ Oracle Services Unit (OSU) to deploy the integrated Oracle 11i throughout its regional business.

Alhokair & Sons is reducing its operating costs and standardising its business operations with the implementation of Oracle’s 11i enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite.

The Saudi-based holding company has signed up Digicom Systems’ Oracle Services Unit (OSU) to deploy the integrated software suite throughout its diverse business operation.

The project will include the deployment of Oracle’s distribution, financials & accounting, payroll, sales order processing, manufacturing and human resource management modules.

Alhokair & Sons selected Digicom after a vigorous evaluation of several other systems integrators. The holding company decided on Oracle 11i because it was able to support the operations of its various business units.

“We have chosen Digicom Systems to implement Oracle 11i to automate end-to-end business processes to cope with the development and growth at the group, and to improve communications and business flows between the groups’ divisions and subsidiaries by implementing best practices,” says Sheikh Abdulmuhsen Alhokair, group chairman.

“Even though the competition between companies to win this project was fierce, we choose Digicom Systems on the grounds of its long experience and expertise in systems integration and knowledge of Oracle business bolutions,” he adds.
