Technology service company, Cooperheat, has deployed Sage’s ERP software across its Saudi Arabia and UAE operations as it seeks to improve its efficiency. Implemented by Algosaibi Information Systems, the application is run on a single server and is being used to manage financial, sales, purchasing and inventory.Ken Baglee, location manager at Cooperheat, says the company opted for Sage because it both fitted Cooperheat’s current requirements and offered a comprehensive upgrade path. “ We chose Sage because it best suited our functional requirements and offered us an upgrade path as we grow… Our next step is to implement Sage Project Accounting to manage ongoing projects at several customer sites,” he says. The Sage solution is web enabled to allow access from a number of locations across the Middle East. In future, Cooperheat’s offices in the Far East will also access the ERP application over the internet.
