Dubai’s ruler has been exploring the stunning Scottish scenery while on holiday in the UK.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai is taking a vacation in Scotland and social media posts show him enjoying the remarkable views, taking a boat ride and walking in the hills.
Instagram photos and videos published by Khalifa Suleiman, Head of Protocol for Sheikh Mohammed, give a glimpse of the wilds of Scotland as well as wildlife and breath-taking scenery.
Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed in Scotland
Accompanied by friends, Sheikh Mohammed can be seen walking in the Scottish countryside, on a fishing trip and enjoying a visit to the UK.
During the trip wildlife such as seals and fish can be seen, while the famed ruggedness of the Highlands is on display.
The rural countryside is far removed from the modern cityscape of Dubai, with Sheikh Mohammed using binoculars to get a view of the mountains, valleys and wildlife.
The photos and videos had thousands of likes and views as well as hundreds of comments.
Hashtags including #vacation, #seatrip, #sealife as well as some of Sheikh Mohammed’s poetry accompanied some of the Instagram posts.
Khalifa Suleiman simply added the caption “Unforgettable Moments”.
