Kyocera Mita will be bringing its full range of page printers, copiers and multifunctional products to Gitex. The star of the stand will be the vendor’s ECOSYS devices, which have been designed to ensure high quality without high consumable costs. “When your car runs out of petrol, do you throw away the entire engine and replace it?” asks Yasuo Nishiguchi, executive vice president of Kyocera Corporation. “Obviously this would not make any sense. ECOSYS technology avoids this unnecessary waste,” he says.In addition to reducing total cost of ownership (TCO), Kyocera Mita argues that the ECOSYS offers low cost per page printing and is more environmentally friendly.”[Others] claim that recycling is the way forward, but the truth is that designing a product which significantly reduces the need to recycle is the real alternative,” Nishiguchi adds.
