A new jobs portal for people in the Gulf Cooperation Council is under development and will be launched soon, according to the Secretariat General of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council.
The portal will be a major boost for jobseekers in the region and allow employers to post vacancies for interested parties across the region.
Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stated that the General Secretariat seeks, through the new employment portal, to attract Gulf employees and that registration will be available to all citizens of the GCC countries, in accordance with the conditions, regulations, jobs and vacancies available.

This came during a presentation delivered by the team concerned with the employment portal on Wednesday (July 12, 2023) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, to brief HE the Secretary General on the new portal,
Albudaiwi said the new portal has been developed in line with new regulations that facilitate applicants’ registration, and guarantee the principle of transparency, justice and equality in registration.
It will allow jobseekers to register and monitor their applications.
Candidates who meet the conditions and pass the interviews scheduled for each job will be selected by specialised committees.
New vacancies will be announced soon in the General Secretariat.
