IP telephony without a computer

The internet protocol (IP) desktop phone incorporates ergonomic design, ease-of-use functionality and the power of IP telephony on the desktop. Users will be able to place international calls at costs starting from just 1 cent per minute with no drop in quality compared to regular telephones. The phone greatly eases access to the internet for IP telephony, as it has a built-in modem. This means there is no need for the phone to be connected to a computer. The MagicPhone can also be connected to an IP LAN through an RG45 connection. As a third alternative, the phone can be used like a regular telephone by connecting it to the local PSTN.
