Minolta-qms Europe has unveiled its new company name to the Middle East, Konica Minolta Printing Solutions Europe B.V., following the merger of Konica Corporation and Minolta Co., Ltd. The company believes its popular printer/copier heritage will benefit from Konica’s significant strength in copier and consumable technologies. The new company will be part of the Konica Minolta Business Technologies Group together with the copier and MFP business. The new logo will be applied to each product successively from the autumn season onwards.”This newly formed organisation will utilise both Minolta and Konica’s brands, combining each company’s expertise in this rapidly growing industry,” explains Ronald Kuik, general manager Sales & Marketing. “The combined market presence and technical expertise of the two organisations results in the ongoing design and development of high quality laser printers that will make the most efficient use of both company’s resources.”
