Winners of each track will receive executive contracts with NEOM worth SAR 500,000, totalling SAR 1.5 million

The Challenge, organised in partnership with Saudi’s futuristic NEOM project, is aimed at propelling SMEs across the world to new horizons in the world of innovation

Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has announced the launch of the second edition of its NEOM AI Challenge for local and international small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs.

The Challenge, organised in partnership with Saudi’s futuristic NEOM project, is aimed at propelling SMEs across the world to new horizons in the world of innovation.

The competition will challenge participants to find solutions to the challenges faced by NEOM using artificial intelligence technologies, across three tracks – AI in decision-making, AI adaptive inspection and machine-executable legislation – to speed up procedures and keep pace with rapid local developments.

SDAIA said SMEs must have six to 49 full-time employees with SAR 3 to 40 million annual revenues, while medium enterprises must have 50 to 249 full-time employees and SAR 40 to 200 million annual revenues to join the Challenge, one of the initiatives of the on-going global AI summit.

For entrepreneurs, the registration requires each team to have between 2 to 5 members.
The winners of each track will receive executive contracts with NEOM worth SAR 500,000 each, totaling SAR 1.5 million.
