Deemah AlYahya is the founding Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, a multilateral organization established to create digital prosperity for all. She is best known for
her role as a connector in the digital economy, bringing all stakeholders from the private and public sectors, academia and civil society together.
Being a coder at heart, she encourages others, especially women, to follow her passion. She is also CEO and founder of Women Spark, the first Saudi women s angel investment network, which has trained more than 26,000 women in the technology industry since its inception in 2013 . She also serves as innovation catalyst on a number of global boards, in some cases as the first and only woman.
AlYahya brings to her role a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing governments and businesses in the digital age. Her previous work in the private and public sectors included advising and orchestrating key strategic programs and initiatives in the digital and policy space.
