Dubai firework displays are famous around the world for their scale, creativity and vibrancy.
While New Year’s Eve displays in Dubai and Abu Dhabi tend to make the biggest headlines, there are massive shows at throughout the year.
Eid Al Fitr will see major displays at locations in both cities.
Dubai Eid 2023 fireworks
- The Beach, JBR and Bluewaters Island: These al fresco leisure destinations are offering prime viewing locations for fireworks on Saturday, April 22. The free shows are expected to begin at 9pm.
- Global Village Dubai: The beloved tourist destination has announced it will close for the season on April 29, so Eid will be one of the last opportunities to visit. Firework displays are planned for 9pm on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22.
- Dubai Parks and Resorts: The theme park destination has scheduled two separate firework displays on Saturday, April 22. There will be displays at 7pm and 9pm.
- Jumeirah Beach: Seaside destination Etisalat by e&Beach Canteen will host Arabian Gulf firework display on Friday, April 21. The sky will be lit up from 9pm.
Dubai Festival City, Al Seef and Palm Jumeirah will also stage Eid firework displays, with details yet to be announced.
Abu Dhabi Eid 2023 fireworks
- Yas Island: The popular Abu Dhabi entertainment district will stage firework displays across the bay on Friday and Saturday from 9pm.
- Hudayriat Island: The night sky above this Abu Dhabi district will be lit up with a stunning array of colours on Saturday, April 22 from 9pm.
- Al Mugheirah Bay: Visitors to Al Dhafra will be able to see fireworks from 9pm on Friday, April 21 with an Eid Al Fitr firework display promised.
- Abu Dhabi Corniche: The 8km stretch of beachside walkways and roads is always a popular destination in Abu Dhabi. Expect crowds and family entertainment for a firework display starting at 9pm on Friday, April 21.
