Qatar’s Public Prosecution has announced it will start of using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
The move to AI is an effort to achieve prompt justice, in accordance with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The AI will be used in investigation sessions as well as in writing the necessary minutes and memorandums to end the legal procedures.
Accordingly, the information available during the investigation sessions and during the issuance of decisions and writing notes are converted into written texts quickly and accurately, while limiting manual work.
It will contribute to speeding up judicial process and improving the accuracy and quality of information related to the functions and work of the Public Prosecution.
Public Prosecution began the experimental use of word-to-text conversion services recently in some of its offices.
The trial was met with satisfaction of a large number of users due to the level of accuracy and effectiveness. Accordingly, it was decided to start implementing this system in the Public Prosecution on a large scale.
Public Prosecution said that it will continue its plans to adopt advanced technological solutions in its work, foremost of which are artificial intelligence technologies, and to disseminate the latest technologies for business development, as well as developing technical capabilities to develop automation for all judicial process to ensure the consolidation and achievement of prompt justice.
