The UAE has announced official Ramadan working hours for Government ministries and federal employees during Ramadan 2023.
A circular released by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) advises public sector employees of the expected working hours during the Holy Month.
The FAHR statement said ministries and federal entities will work
- From 9am to 2.30pm, Monday through Thursday.
- From 9am to noon on Fridays
UAE Ramadan working hours
The circular issued by FAHR is in accordance with the Cabinet Resolution dictating working hours throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources stated that federal employees may be able to implement flexible working structure in order to adhere to the approved number of working hours.
