In pictures: NEOM reveals Saudi multi-billion dollar megaproject images

The destination teamed up with Unsplash and Getty create and distribute an extensive visual library showcasing NEOM

Ahead of its opening in 2024, Saudi’s multi-billion dollar destination – NEOM has officially partnered with global visual content creator and marketplaces, Getty and Unsplash to give the world a sneak peek into what they will discover in the years to come.

Fourteen leading photographers were selected to explore and discover NEOM’s extensive landscape. Over 200 images have been unveiled as part of the initial release.

Some of the image features include NEOM’s natural landscapes, from coasts, corals and islands to deserts, mountains and coastal plains. Many of the images released covers Sindalah, the first NEOM destination set to open to the public in 2024.

NEOM images revealed

In March, NEOM has announced the signing of a multi-deal agreement with Marriott International to open three properties on Sindalah Island in the Red Sea.

The agreement includes the first Autograph Collection Hotels property in Saudi Arabia and two Luxury Collection properties.

“The Luxury Collection and Autograph Collection Hotels properties will express their own unique personality inspired by the exceptional natural landscapes of NEOM. We continue to see growth opportunities for our brand portfolio within the destination and Saudi Arabia overall,” Jerome Briet, Chief Development Officer, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International said.
