Revealed: Top 10 busiest international air routes
The world’s busiest international routes by number of flights Dubai International Airport – Kuwait International Airport is the world’s 10th busiest with over 14,581 flights in the course of a year, according to new data from OAG Aviation.


9. The 9th busiest route with Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport – Changi Airport Singapore having 14,698 flights operated by five carriers and an OTP of 81.7 percent.

8. Hong Kong International Airport – Seoul Incheon Airport is the world’s 8th busiest with 15,770 flights operated by nine carriers.

7. LaGuardia Airport – Toronto Pearson International Airport with over 17,038 flights operated by three carriers and an OTP of 54.9 percent.

6. Route between Seoul Incheon Airport – Kansai International Airport is the world’s 6th busiest with 19,711 flights operated by eight carriers.

5. Route with Soekarno–Hatta International Airport – Kuala Lumpur International Airport having 19,741 flights operated by eight carriers.

4. Hong Kong International Airport – Shanghai Pudong Airport route has 20,678 flights per year operated by five carriers, with an on-time performance (OTP) of 66.6 percent.

1. The busiest international route in the world is Kuala Lumpur – Singapore with over 30,187 flights in the course of a year, operated by 8 carriers with an average of 82 flights per day and an OTP of 72.8 percent.
