Emirati riders dominated the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup Festival UK Endurance Masters, the UK’s largest Endurance event in Thetford.


Knight Salem Hamad Al Ketbi won the main 120km race of the third day, finishing in 04:38:30 hrs; Abdullah Ali Al Ameri won the 120km title for juniors, in 04:47:51; followed by Rashid Hameed Al Kindi, who finished in 04:47:51; and then came Shaheen Yahia Al Mazrouei in third place, finishing in 04:48:47.

This edition looks set to be the largest endurance event ever staged in the United Kingdom.

The three-day competition offers riders the challenge of a variety of terrains through Suffolk.

The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup Festival UK Endurance Masters is one of the world’s largest endurance events.

The total prize money is more than 2 million pounds sterling.
