Nabs reaches Mount Vinson summit

Omani explorer Nabil 'Nabs' Al-Busaidi reached the top of Antarctica's highest peak, Mount Vinson.

The 39-year-old Omani made it to the top on January 17.

Nabs plants the Omani flag he used when he reached the magnetic North Pole and scaled Mount Kilimanjaro.

Nabs battled against arctic conditions and dangerous terrain to reach the summit.

Mount Vinson, which stands at 4,892m high, is one of the world’s Seven Summits – or the highest peaks on the seven continents.

Arabian Business sees the 39-year-old Arab explorer plant the Omani flag into the snow-topped peak.
