Twelve men, believed to be illegal migrants, died and about 20 others were injured in a road crash in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

The men, believed to be mostly Ethiopian and Yemeni undocumented workers in the kingdom, were reportedly travelling in two vehicles that collided near Dawadmi, 350 km from Riyadh at about 12 pm.

Arab News reported that some of the injured were in critical conditions and authorities feared the death toll would rise.
