Kuwaiti man dies in sandstorm

An elderly Kuwaiti man has died in a sandstorm in the Gulf state, Kuwait Times has reported.

The 67-year-old was reportedly inside a caravan in the desert when strong winds knocked it over on Monday.

The man suffered a head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene, the newspaper said.

Four camels also died in the storm, while an Asian man who claimed to be the deceased’s employee survived.
