Snow Oman and the Mall of Oman have been officially inaugurated in the Sultanate.
Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment celebrated the official opening of the Middle East’s largest indoor snow park.
Located in Mall of Oman and covering 14,830 sq m, Snow Oman is the largest indoor snow park in the MENA region and the first and only indoor snow destination in the Sultanate.

Majid Al Futtaim also operates award-winning indoor snow parks in Dubai and Egypt.
The retail giant also officially opened the Mall of Oman, following a soft launch in September 2021.
As well as the snow park, the mall is home to the country’s largest VOX Cinema, 260 international and local retail outlets and more than 45 dining options.
There are plans to add a further 15 dining experiences in 2023.
The giant retail and leisure facility is the biggest mall globally to have achieve LEED Platinum under New Building Core and Shell for its success in saving 28.59% of energy, with a 49% water saving and introducing low-emission-vehicle parking spaces.

Majid Al Futtaim has invested OR705m ($1.8bn) in the country through a diverse portfolio that ranges from physical assets such as shopping malls and mixed use communities, to leisure and entertainment experiences, lifestyle stores and Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets.
These activities have generated an estimated 42,000 direct and indirect job opportunities over the past seven years.
